Air Freight Export Coordinator – Award Winning company and Sunday Times top 250 !

Air Freight Export Coordinator required for a Sunday Times top 250 Freight Forwarder based at Heathrow.

The Freight Forwarder have multiple UK sites –

This role would suit an individual with an Air Freight operations background, particularly in Export and Gateway

The group employ 900 employees across 20 UK sites. Heathrow is a talented and experienced team.

The Package :

Circa £22K – £31K
Medical Insurance
Pension scheme with contribution
28 days holiday (increases annually)　
Hours : 4 on 4 off and Monday to Friday 9-5 and combination of earlies / lates available
The Role:

“This role provides an excellent opportunity for an individual who is competent in Export and Gateway operations including customs entries , taking bookings, submitting and following up quotations , arranging collections and deliveries and liaising with our overseas partners
To ensure that the department offers a high standard of customer service to both internal and external customers, providing appropriate, accurate information and demonstrating a professional, helpful and positive manner, taking responsibility to ensure that work passed onto others is of a high quality.
To authorise and check quotations issued by other departments and offer advice and guidance on quotations to the operations team, to ensure that profits are maximised.
To demonstrate an understanding of Customs requirements, Aviation Security and Dangerous Goods rules, ensuring
that all controls, formalities and procedures are implemented both pre and post shipment.　
To support any operational requirements in line with qualifications gained and training received.
To ensure that all documentation, records and systems are accurate and kept up to date..

Requirements:

Air Freight experience with a Freight Forwarder
Export
