Applications Engineer
We are seeking an CNC Application Engineer, although you maybe an Applications Engineer or Trainer you are likely to currently be a CNC Service Engineer, CNC Installation Engineer or CNC Programmer.
Our client are a manufacturer of CNC machine tools.
The role
- Home based (Midlands / M1 area ideally; Worcestershire,
- Leicestershire, Warwickshire, Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire, West Midlands, Northamptonshire)
- Attending client sites throughout the UK to install, commission and provide training
- Training includes set up, programming, use of tooling and running new machines
You
- At least 5 years of turning experience using Fanuc controls in both G code programming and using Manual guide
- Able to read technical drawings
Essentials
- Knowledge of Multi spindle & multi turret lathes with milling capability
- This will be a customer facing role requiring excellent communication skills and patience under pressure is a must
- Qualified to HNC level / Apprentice Trained CNC machinist
Package
- Salary up to £50,000 (DOE)
- 25 days holiday
- Company vehicle
