CNC Field Service Engineer
CNC Field Service Engineer – Midlands based
I’m recruiting an experienced CNC Service Engineer for the number one independent supplier to the UK’s panel producing market
Specialising in the installation, maintenance and repair of CNC machines, You will be joining an established team working on a range of bespoke, high value woodworking machines
The Role
- You will be on the road performing diagnostics, repairs and tests on a range of CNC Machines
- To carry out installation and training of machinery, as well as service and repairs to a range of high speed routing CNC machines
- Offline CNC programming
- Based from home and travel to customers sites across the UK
- Must be willing to stay away up to a maximum of 4 nights a week
Requirements
- Good knowledge of G codes and M codes
- Experience of CNC controllers
- Fanuc knowledge desirable
- Ability to understand and work from technical drawings
- Experience of offline CNC programming
- Electronic fault finding to a high level
- Have an understanding of mechanical / pneumatic systems
- Have an understanding of electrical circuits and operation
- Be able to communicate well with customers and suppliers
- Ideally based around the Midlands although not essential
Package:
- Salary £35,000-£45,000
