I am recruiting for an independent Plumbing & Heating supplies merchant. The company is a family-owned company and has been established 90 years. Over the last 6 years my client has seen strong growth and has expanded from just 1 branch to 5 branches.
The role
An exciting opportunity has become available in the Bristol branch. I am recruiting for a Driver/Warehouse Support/ Operative to join our busy and lively team. You will report to the branch manager and work closely with the warehouse and sales team to provide an essential service for our customer base.
Key responsibilities
- Carrying out vehicle safety checks.
- Delivering plumbing and heating goods to customers.
- Loading the van.
- Helping to route the delivery schedule.
- Goods In.
- strong work ethic that is able to combine driving our Luton van for deliveries and to assist the warehouse.
Skills
- Have basic computer knowledge (Outlook & Merchant systems).
- A strong team player.
- Attention to detail and having a high level of accuracy.
- Good monitoring and recording skills.
- Good communication skills.
- Ambitious to develop a career with us and progress as we grow.
- Fork Lift Truck licence/experience is desired but not essential.
- Full UK driving licence
