Electrical Maintenance Engineer – Machine Tools
Electrical maintenance engineer required for a highly successful production equipment maintenance company. This will be a site-based manufacturing maintenance role in Chelmsford, where you will carry out electrical maintenance on equipment such as lathes, CNC machines and machine tools
This would suit an experienced electrical maintenance engineer, electrical maintenance technician, multi-skilled engineer, electro-mechanical engineer, electrical engineer, production engineer, factory engineer, maintenance manager or maintenance supervisor who has a background in production maintenance or factory equipment maintenance with machine tools, CNC machines, lathes, milling machines, band saws, grinders, boring mills, turning machines, power saws, presses, shapers or planers
Duties:
Maintenance on manufacturing production equipment
Static site based
Liaising with internal engineering and facilities managers
Background:
Electrically qualified, either as an apprentice trained or formal qualification such as a diploma, degree or city & guilds in an engineering discipline i.e HND, HNC or ONC electrical engineering
Background in machine tools maintenance or similar including CNC machines, lathes, milling machines, band saws, grinders, boring mills, turning machines, power saws, presses, shapers or planers
Excellent fault finding skills
Strong understanding of mechanical engineering
Experience of maintaining production or factory equipment
Package:
Salary £40,000
Monday to Friday
Day shifts only – no nights or weekends!
8am to 4.30pm
31 days holiday including bank holidays
