Location: Humble, TX
Salary: $75,000 + Bonus Opportunities
We are seeking an experienced Freight Coordinator to join a growing international logistics team. This role is responsible for managing international shipments from start to finish while providing exceptional customer service and ensuring operational excellence throughout the shipment lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate international import and export shipments from A to Z.
- Track, trace, and monitor shipments through to final delivery.
- Communicate proactively with customers, carriers, and partners.
- Prepare AES export filings when required.
- Provide quotations and routing solutions.
- Review costs, audit vendor invoices, and ensure billing accuracy.
- Resolve shipment issues and maintain compliance with import/export regulations.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in freight forwarding or international operations.
- Strong knowledge of import/export procedures and regulations.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; CargoWise experience is an advantage.
