Graduate R&D Engineer
Graduate R&D Engineer – Must live 20min commute of Knutsford.
Fantastic opportunity for a Graduate Mechanical Engineer to fulfill the role of R&D Engineer. You may be an experienced R&D Engineer or a degree qualified Mechanical Engineer with Solidworks design experience either gained through a work placement or during your degree course.
The company are a large manufacturer and supplier of engineering products to the global Oil & Gas and Water sectors.
The Role
You will assist the Research & Development Works Manager with on-site problem solving
- Development of new and existing products, both subsea, instrument and pipeline valves.
- Assembly and testing of prototype valves
- Contribution to new product design reviews
- FMECA Work
- Developing automated testing of products
You
- At least 1 year engineering experience
- Solidworks design experience
- Engineering placement or work experience in similar role
- Ideally, practical engineering experience in degree or work environment
Qualifications
- B.Eng in Mechanical Engineering
- Solidworks / AutoCAD proficient
- Experience in the industry would be an advantage
Package
- To £22k to £25k dependant on experience
- 23 days holiday plus bank holidays
