Technical Sales Engineer/ Internal Sales Co-ordinator / Sales Administration – £30k

My client, a leader in the manufacturer of industrial and commercial fresh water pump systems, are looking for an Internal Sales Engineer to provide technical support to the team and to clients.
Would suit someone with experience in a sales support role within an engineering/technical environment, or perhaps a qualified engineer with some administration experience, looking for that next step.
The role:
- Converting raw customer enquiries into technical specifications and quotations
- Logging and chasing sales quotations
- Logging sales orders
- Communication of these sales orders to the Production Department
- Raising purchase orders and invoices
- Managing sales from concept to completion
- Selecting and creating monthly case studies to publish on the website
- Some participation in the out of hours rota on a technical support basis
You
- Computer literate
- Competent business administration skills
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Willingness to visit construction sites throughout the South East
- An ability to work accurately with part lists and allocations
- Understanding of basic electrical systems and/or pipework installations
- Experience in the pumped drainage industry or related service industry
