My client have an opening in their busy Freight Forwarding Department for a skilled and experienced Internal Sales Executive

The Company

Multi-modal International Freight Forwarder.
Employing circa 30 Staff across their Sea freight, Airfreight, & European export and import departments with a Team of Management responsible for each department.
A significant part of the business is FCL and consolidated Sea Freight worldwide.

Person Specification

The individual will already have experience in Internal Sales within Sea Freight FCL &/or LCL, Deep Sea Forwarding, Air Freight or Road Freight.
They will have good customer service skills, be able to work well alone and in a team and sales experience of working in a Freight Forwarding environment.
Ideally they should be confident in the process of managing quotations, Pricing and Customer Accounts. Dealing with current and new customers.

Experience with Cargowise would be greatly beneficial.

The Role

The position is to be involved within the well-established Import team and to assist in driving the development and profitability of the department as we continue to add new services, overseas partners and clients.

The role is very much a “Hands on” position working directly with clients & operating the daily tasks associated with sales and on-boarding, on a start to finish basis.

Location: Crowthorne
Hours: Monday to Friday 09:00 to 17:30.
Holiday entitlement: 28 days holiday – increases with service, Pension Contribution: 5% of salary
Bonus Scheme: paid annually
Starting salary: £25K – 35K
