Maintenance Engineer
Maintenance Engineer – Gloucester Quays – £38,000-£41,000 – Double Days
Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer required to join a fast growing manufacturer based in Gloucester, near Gloucester Quays.
As the successful Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer your duties will include maintaining thermal oil presses, pumps, CNC, water jet and lathers to name a few. This is a very diverse role, which can include electrical, mechanical and facility work. You will be reporting directly to the Maintenance Manager. The role also includes a 1 week in 5 on call rota.
The Package:
Salary – £38,000-£41,000
Working Hours – 06:00-14:00 & 14:00-22:00 Monday-Friday rotating weekly

The Role:
- Mechanical engineering, Pneumatics, bearings, pumps, valves, chains and boilers, CNC routers and water jets
- Electrical, Single, 3 phase Motors and PLCs
- Provide a reactive and proactive maintenance service
- Provide a service that ensures all mechanical and electrical equipment is running to optimum performance and all key performance indicators are met
- Carry out modifications and installations when required
- Liaise with sub-contractors and external suppliers
- Take ownership of tools and equipment provided
Requirements:
- Will ideally be apprentice trained or hold a City and Guilds or NVQ in a relevant discipline.
- Will be mechanically and electrically trained
- Must have previous maintenance experience working in a manufacturing environment.
- MEWP or FLT counterbalance license would be highly advantageous.
