Rail Freight Administrator – 4 on, 4 off nights

Rail Freight Administrator – Daventry – Up to £33,000

Our client, who are a well-known Transport company are looking for a Rail Freight Administrator to join their team in Daventry.

As Rail Freight Administrator, you will be tasked in booking trucks in and out creating rail list for train arrivals and departures.

Job type: Permanent

Hours: 4 on, 4 off – nights (18:00pm – 06:00am)

Salary: Up to £33,000

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Booking trucks in and out creating rail lists for train arrivals / departures
  • Communicating with Reach Stacker drivers on the terminal to ensure a seamless process via radio, organise and direct traffic around the terminal
  • General Administrative & Customer Service duties
  • Assisting the team at busy times

We are looking for candidates to apply who have the following:

  • Experience of container terminal operations and planning
  • Clear verbal and written communication skills
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Previous administrative experience
  • Valid driving licence
