Road Freight Account Manager
EU Road Account Manager – Folkestone – Up to £35,000
Our client who operate on a global scale are looking for an Account Manager to join their team to cover all things EU Road Freight.
This particular branch specialise in European road freight forwarding and with their own HGV trailers that can provide a comprehensive logistics service to all their clients.
The purpose of the role is to come in to support with building and strengthening the company’ supplier relationships across Europe.
Monday to Friday 8am – 5pm.
* Salary: Up to 35,000 DOE
* 25 days holiday plus bank and public holidays

Key responsibilities include:
* Finding new suppliers to serve them on key lanes
* Building relationships with new and existing suppliers
* Obtaining rates from suppliers for regular and ad-hoc routes
* Selling loads to suppliers ensuring profitability
* Holding regular performance reviews with main suppliers
Requirements
* Experience within EU Road freight
* Experience with a UK based Freight Forwarder
