The global company is a market leader in sensors and automation solutions within the engineering sector and is looking for an Technical Customer Support Technician to join them who can provide excellent customer support, technical expertise & Internal Sales
The Role
You will support our customers with great customer support, technical expertise and Sales and a good level of application knowledge. Working with a customer base within the following sectors automotive, food and packaging, fluid power,
energy, medical and steel industries. The ideal person would have experience in Internal Sales, Technical Sales with an Engineering background.
- Advise Customers over the phone as well as an operator on Live Chat
- Support Customer in product selections and knowledge with Cross-Selling potential
- Support Sales Engineers with Technical issues
- Perform Application tests and document the results to Customers
- Handling of Customer enquiries to a high standard.
You
- Must have some Industry knowledge of Sensors/Automation components
- Good knowledge of Sales Processes
- Good Communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure
- Computer Literate – MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), SAP R3
