I am recruiting for an independent Plumbing & Heating supplies merchant / trade counter. The company is a family-owned company and has been established 90 years. Over the last 6 years my client has seen strong growth and has expanded from just 1 branch to 5 branches.
The Role
My client is seeking a Trade Counter Sales person to join sales team in the Barton Hill branch. They are looking for an individual who has a passion for sales and customer service but also can turn their hand to occasionally supporting the warehouse team.
- Providing great customer service, always going above and beyond
- Counter and phone sales
- Personal sales administration
- Quote creation and chasing
- Ability to problem solve under pressure
Skills and experience :
- Have a trade counter / merchant experience with companies such as Wolsely, Screwfix, Wickes, B&Q, Wren, Plumbase
- Flexible in hours with great work ethic
- High level of accuracy
- Good understanding of computers basic use of word, excel and outlook (essential)
Benefits
Salary: From £26,000.00 per year (plus bonus 10% of salary)
- 25 days holiday a year plus bank holidays
