Transport Manager
Transport Manager required near Southampton
A leading Transport business are looking for an experienced and qualified Transport Manager to join the team.
You will be managing and monitoring a large fleet of vehicles and drivers ensuring full compliance and cost efficiency is achieved at all times.
It is essential that you hold a Manager CPC.
The Package:
£30,000 – £35,000
Monday – Friday
50 hours per week
The Role:
Transport manager will oversee all company owned vehicles – ensuring they are road legal and well maintained
You will be responsible for managing full Driver compliance
Any and all infringements must be dealt with quickly and effectively
Transport Manager is required to ensure cost efficient use of all company resources
Routes must be planned in line with demand and with maximum vehicle usage
All associated administration must be complete
The Requirements:
National or International CPC holder
Vehicle & Driver Management
Operationally astute
Excellent person management skills
Logistics Distribution and Supply Chain
