Transport Operations Manager
Transport Operations Manager required by leading transport company!
A leading haulage business based near Derby are looking for an experienced Transport Operations Manager to join the team.
You will be leading a team of Planners, Managers and Drivers, working towards 100% OTIF and to achieve the most cost efficient operation.
Manager CPC qualified - ideally.
General Haulage & Contract Logistics experience is essential.
The Package:
Up to £50,000
Monday - Friday
08:00 - 17:00 / 09:00 - 18:00
The Role:
Transport Operations Manager will be overseeing a team of Planners, Managers and Drivers
You will be ensuring efficient and effective route plans are in place
Transport Operations Manager will be hands on in ensuring effective use of company fleet
It is required that you know how to source and route loads
You must lead by example and keep all admin up to date
The Requirements:
General Haulage & Contract Logistics
Manager CPC would be beneficial
Excellent person management skills
Previously managed full transport operation
Strong geographical knowledge
