My client is a family owned Plumbing & Heating Merchant and have branches 5 located across Bristol, Bath & Yate.,
The role
An exciting new opportunity has developed to join the busy warehouse in Barton Hill as a Team Leader. You’ll be working alongside a team of 4 to ensure all warehouse operations are carried out effectively and efficiently. This role would suit someone looking to take the next step in the Management ladder. Someone who is looking for future career development. So if you work as a Warehouse Operative, Warehouse Supervisor or a Team Leader this role would suit you.
Key responsibilities
- Relief delivery driving to cover driver holiday – standard driving license required.
- Picking deliveries.
- Checking off stock with high accuracy and booking in.
- Phoning customers to inform them orders are ready.
- Book in deliveries.
- Stock rotation and management.
- Working to lower stock loss.
- Supporting team in achieving bonus targets.
About you
- Basic computer knowledge on Outlook & Merchant systems (although training given).
- A strong team player.
- Attention to detail and having a high level of accuracy.
- Good communication skills.
- Ambitious to develop a career with us and progress as we grow.l.
- Full UK driving licence.
