Project Manager / Contracts Manager
This is a great opportunity for a Project Engineer or Contracts Engineer to step up to a Project Management / Contracts Manager position. We also welcome applications from experienced Project Managers and Contracts Managers.
The company are leaders in process cooling and heating sector, working with OEMs and other production environments throughout Europe.
They deal with heating and cooling applications within food & bev, chemical, plastics, electronics, data centres and more.
You will already have exposure to project management duties, although this maybe limited to date you will be ready for more autonomy.
You will be comfortable sizing and selecting equipment whether that be electrical or mechanical and be able to calculate flow rates of air, water or cable sizing if electrically biased.
You will have experience using AutoCAD to design layouts and systems.
You will already have some relevant work experience, perhaps you are knowledgeable about HVAC, refrigeration, building services, air handling units, ventilation, electrical systems. You will be able to utilise and apply this transferable knowledge.
It is likely you will have recently held a position as; Project Engineer, Project Manager, Contracts Engineer, Sales Engineer, Design Engineer looking for a project and commercially focused role.
Duties of the Contracts Manager
This role is demanding and challenging and involves cradle to grave project management where you will spend 50% of your time with customers and 50% at head office.
As Contracts Manager you will own each project, managing 4-5 simultaneously at any time
Day to day you liaise with all parties involved in a project, starting with sales engineer colleagues, clients and subcontractors
Holding kick off meetings
Sub contractors will include M&E engineers, mainly electrical engineers and pipe fitters.
You will produce schematic diagrams for pipework and modifications on CAD/Auto CAD Light
Size and specify equipment and components and gain agreement from client
You are likely to have achieved degree or HND level education

Salary £30K - £40K
25 days holiday (Up to 30 days’ holiday plus 8 Bank Holidays - increasing with service)
