Position: Sales Executive – Tank Containers

Salary: Up to £35,000 + Commission & Car

My client is seeking to appoint a Sales Executive professional with a background in Tank Containers to assist with their growing presence within the UK. Sales Executive Role:
- Identify, initiate, develop, and expand commercial relationships with new and existing customers in the UK, with focus on maximising profits, portfolio development and customer loyalty.
- Assist the Commercial Manager/GM in projects and management tasks as they arise.
- Nurture and expand existing customer relationships within the area of responsibility.
- Identify, contact, and develop new customer relationships in are of responsibility, responding to and following up on inquiries for all levels of transport service offered within UK.
- Coordinate account activity and pricing strategy for your customers in conjunction with the Commercial Manager, as necessary to ensure alignment with regional and global strategy.
- Ensure strategic account plans are developed, regularly maintained, and reviewed with the Commercial Manager for select key customers.
- Assist in design or completion of sales presentations when required.
- Attend regularly scheduled staff meetings for purpose of sharing commercial strategy and global market & Competitor knowledge.
- Assist the Operations Supervisors/ Manager with projects as they arise.
From You:
- Logistic/transportation knowledge with minimum 3 years experience in tank container industry or suitable alternative experience. Prior sales or marketing experience desired.
- Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills.
- Self-starter, able to work from remote location without oversight for periods of time, able to determine and define priorities for sales contact / activity.
- Good level of business English
- Good commercial skills
- Good administrative/organisation skills required with attention to detail
- Able to prioritise and set goals
- Driving License Required
