Due to impressive growth my client is immediately recruiting for an Engineering Manager to manage installations of machinery and turn-key materials handling systems
The company have a successful portfolio of UK and worldwide clients within manufacturing industries ranging from Rubber and Plastics to animal feeds, power generation food & beverage and recycling
The role:
In-house project management of a small engineering team together with on-site management of installation teams both mechanically and electrically
- Project management incorporating mechanical, electrical and software design for projects worth £10K – £2m
- Customer & supplier liaison, project review meetings
- Managing installation teams and planning workload
- System design management & review
- Personnel management, managing and planning employee workloads
Requirements:
- Previous extensive experience managing engineering projects from start to finish as a Project Manager or Engineering Manager
- Experience related to materials handling, process engineering systems, machinery & automation systems
- Strong knowledge of engineering principles and legislation
- Control & automation systems knowledge
Package:
- Salary: £45,000 – £50,000
- Flexible working environment
- O.T is available
- Early finish on a Friday
