Mechanical Design Engineer – £35,000 – £45,000 – Stress Analysis / Structural Steel
I’m recruiting a Mechanical Design Engineer to join a leading supplier and manufacturer of bespoke equipment for a range of industries in East London. The role will involve design and analysis of equipment and fabrications to International design codes, utilising SolidWorks.
Successful applicant will be a Graduate in Mechanical Engineering and will have a strong working knowledge of Solidworks.
The Package:
- Salary – £35,000-£45,000

The Role:
- Bespoke design for manufacture; fabricated structural steel
- Full design process from design concept, manufacturing & testing
- Production of engineering calculations, 3D modelling drawings and stress analysis
- Redesign of existing products
- Site visit and Inspection
Requirements:
- Structural steel / steel frame or design of fabricated parts highly beneficial
- Experienced Mechanical Design Engineer
- A degree in Mechanical Engineering or HND
- Manufacturing Design environment experience
- Solidworks experience
- The ability to complete quotations and understand financial implications
