I am recruiting for a Service Workshop Engineer to join a great Family run Engineering company in Crewe with 130 employees and fantastic internal progression.
A technical qualification is required for this position
The Role
The ideal candidate will form part of a dedicated engineering team inspecting, servicing and repairing pumps and related equipment.
- Observe and maintain the company’s Health & Safety Policy
- Be flexible in working hours to meet demands of the business
- Service, repair and assembly of pumps and associated equipment
- Complete and maintain service reports
- Liaise with customers and suppliers
- Assist colleagues in resolving technical issues
- Maintain a safe and clean work area
- Manage your own workload to maintain customer satisfaction
- Maintain company procedures and improve where possible
- Identify training needs
You
- Computer experience (Microsoft suite)
- Experience of working in a similar role
- Working knowledge / understanding of pumps and/or motors
- Technical qualification (Level 3 minimum)
- Electrically competent
- Excellent problem solving
- Ability to work flexibly
- Open to learning new skills
- Strong personal attributes to deal with all types of enquiry
