Senior Buyer – Machining background
A fantastic opportunity for a Senior Buyer to join a world leading valves company with products sold in over fifty countries and continuing to grow. The Senior Buyer will be accountable for the supply of materials/components to meet the requirements of the customer base. This includes meeting cost, delivery, quality and service needs.
The successful candidate will be fully empowered to make decisions regarding demand and supply timescales, pricing and supplier selection.
Skills & Experience Required:
- Experience in supply chain management and expediting
- Background in component manufacturing / machining
- Strong negotiation skills
- Experience in reading technical drawings
- Thorough understanding of MRP principles
- Proficient with MS Suite and ERP Software
