Transport Manager – CPC – Portsmouth – up to £38,000
This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing freight forwarding business in Portsmouth
Monday – Friday
0800 – 1700
£35,000 – £38,000 (DOE)
The Role
- As Transport Manager you will ensure all defects are recorded and resolved within a timely manner.
- To ensure all vehicle and trailer folder and documentation management.
- Transport Manager will ensure a robust system is in place for the management of missing mileage.
- You will carry out a robust procedure for driver infringement detection, and the management plan for them.
- To carry out all accident information gathering and providing details to our Insurance Company, and internally.
- Transport Manager will carry out regular compliance audits.
- Be responsible for all compliance.
Requirements
- Experience using the TruckCom system is preferred but not essential.
- Container experience required.
- Strong knowledge of VBS
- Excellent geographical knowledge
- Previous experience as Transport Manager.
- Must have CPC Qualification
