Technical Sales Engineer – Electrical

Technical Sales Engineer / Technical Support Engineer- Switchgear – Electrical

An opportunity to join a well established leading manufacturer of Switchgear, who offer clear and structured progression. I’m recruiting a solutions-minded electrically-biased engineer to join my client as a Technical Sales Engineer.

This role will involve working with customers to identify and design electrical solutions. Strong technical knowledge through qualification or experience. Good customer manner and communication skills are a must. This role is open to fresh graduates, or you may have previous experience as an electrician, electrical engineer, panel wireman, technical sales engineer, technical support engineer or similar.

Benefits

  • £35,000-£45,000 base
  • Death in service, company pension scheme and private medical scheme
  • 25 days holiday plus normal bank holidays

You

  • Electrical engineering qualification or experience
  • May be a fresh graduate or have previous experience as an electrician, electrical engineer, panel wireman, technical sales engineer, technical support engineer or similar.
  • Understanding of electrical theory, knowledge of AC/DC Utilisation categories
  • Experience of On load/Off load applications and requirements thereof
  • Experience of control panel design/assembly
  • Strong commercial/sales accumen
  • Strong customer manner/communication skills
