Aerospace Lecturer / Aerospace Engineer – Term time hours! (Part-time / Full-time)

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Aerospace Engineer to undertake the role of Aerospace Lecturer at a local college of further education. Previous Lecturing, Training or education background is not required so long as a desire to teach and inspire exists.

The successful candidate will play a crucial role in shaping the future of aerospace education and inspiring students to excel in this dynamic field within the college.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lecturing and Course Delivery: Deliver engaging and informative lectures, workshops, and tutorials on aerospace-related subjects, ensuring that course content is current and aligns with industry standards.

2. Curriculum Development: Contribute to the development and enhancement of aerospace curriculum materials, keeping them up-to-date with technological advancements and industry trends.

3. Student Mentorship: Provide guidance and support to students, including advising on academic matters, assisting with research projects, and mentoring them in their aerospace career aspirations.

4. Research and Innovation: Engage in aerospace-related research and innovation activities, collaborating with colleagues and students to contribute to the advancement of aerospace knowledge.

You:

Aerospace Qualification e.g.HNC, HND or ideally a degree

Experience in the aerospace sector as an Engineer, Manager, Trainer, Leader or similar

Passion and desire to pass on your knowledge and inspire the next generation of Aerospace Engineers and professionals

Salary and Benefits:

• Term time hours only. 37 hours per week.
• Competitive salary range of £35,000 – £45,000 per annum, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
• Opportunities for professional development and advancement.
• This role could be worked on a full or Part time / job share basis.
