Location: London Heathrow

Salary: £30,000 – £34,000 (DOE)

My client is looking for an experienced AOG Operator to join their team based out of London Heathrow. They are one of the leading logistics and freight forwarding companies in the world with over 150 years of experience in the industry, employing over 70,000 people across 2,000 locations worldwide.

• Full time: 4 on / 4 off – 7:00am – 19:00pm

Key Responsibilities:

• Handling all aspects of operations with exceptional customer service at the forefront.
• Monitoring and promptly responding to emails, ensuring timely action.
• Coordinating collection and delivery with vendors, ensuring smooth logistics.
• Utilising our internal Procars system to generate shipping documentation.
• Preparing export processes using Sequoia/CDS entries, adhering to UK HMRC regulations.
• Exploring alternative solutions that align with customer requirements.
• Offering operational support to the Aerospace Team, contributing to their success.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in an AOG environment desirable.
• Air Freight operations experience desirable.
• Experience working for a UK based freight forwarding company.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Good verbal and written communication.
