Sales & Forwarding Coordinator – Stallingborough – Up to £27,000
Our client, who are a leading shipping and freight forwarding company are looking for a Sales & Forwarding Coordinator to join their team in Stallingborough, Lincolnshire.
Job type: Permanent
Hours: Monday to Friday – 09:00am to 17:30pm
Salary: Up to £27,000
Role description
- All aspects of Customer Services
- Spot quotes using an in-house tariff system
- Admin – Issue sales invoicing to customers according to agreements and check and pass purchase invoices
- Take bookings and create in our internal software
- Liaise and negotiate with subcontractors for prices
Person specification:
- A confident and approachable person
- A high level of organisation and attention to detail
- Customer with the determination and willingness to deliver an excellent level of service
- Good decision-making skills, ability to evaluate, prioritise and plan while responding to quickly changing workloads
- A methodical, logical approach with good problem-solving abilities, able to work on their own initiative within a time-critical setting and as part of a team
- IT literate
- A willingness to learn other roles in the team to build on personal experience
