External Sales Engineer – Seals
Area Sales Engineer/Area Sales Manager – Seals – Pumps – Rotating Equipment – North West
An opportunity to take over a warm patch with strong existing network of customers, working for a leading international manufacturer of mechanical components. A good mix of new business development and existing account management.
I’m recruiting an Area Sales Engineer / Sales Manager with knowledge of mechanical seals or associated equipment to join a 9-figure turnover business with sites worldwide. You’ll be landing in a warm patch with 7 figure turnover and a strong existing customer base. Extensive and regular training is on offer to develop technical knowledge of products.
The ideal candidate will have knowledge of mechanical seals or associated equipment (centrifugal pumps, agitators, centrifugal compressors or similar). Experience in a relevant sales role is preferred but not essential.

- £40,000-£45,000 base salary (negotiable)

The Role
- Set and achieve sales turnover and profit targets
- Recommend promotional and exhibition activities and actively participate in events
- Recommend the introduction of new products and services
- Preparation and submission of major contracts/quotations to customers
- Provide on-site technical and applications support to customers
