Field Sales Engineer / Sales Manager
My client are a global leading manufacturer of industrial engineering products. They sell to OEMs, end users and distributors throughout all industries. They are now looking for a Field Sales Engineer / Area Sales Manager living in the North West / West Yorkshire area.
The Role:
- Working from home, spending most of your time visiting customers (i.e. distributors/resellers in your patch)
- Selling fluid power & motion control products (full manufacturer training given)
- Ensure customer service expectations are met and sales revenue is maximised
- Ensure all distributor accounts are aggressively pursued to increase market share.
- Identify, qualify and new distributor markets and accounts.
- Assist distributors to develop plans to maintain significant user accounts.
- Ensure sufficient inventory levels are held by distributors
- Building one-to-one relationships with key customer contacts
You:
- Proven Sales experience as a Sales Engineer, Account Manager or Key Account Manager, Project Engineer, Internal Sales, Sales Manager, BDM
- Product knowledge: automation or industrial products or hydraulics or components other engineering sales
- Live on patch in the North West; Lancashire, Manchester, Yorkshire, Leeds or Sheffield area.
- Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close
