Air Conditioning Service Engineer

I’m looking for an Air Conditioning Service Engineer to ensure the optimal functioning of air conditioning systems for commercial clients, mainly in West London and some in Central London. You will be responsible for performing maintenance and repair of air conditioning equipment in commercial and high rise residential buildings

Package:

• Total salary £45,000 to £60,000
• Base salary £40,000 to £45,000
• Bonus £5,000 to £15,000 depending on over-time worked
• x1.5 rate Saturdays, x2 rate Sundays
• Only 2 call-outs in 2022 (official rota 1 in 8)
• Minimum of 8 hours salary for weekend work

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct routine maintenance checks on air conditioning systems to ensure proper operation
• Perform preventive maintenance tasks to extend the life of equipment and prevent breakdowns
• Install, replace, and upgrade air conditioning components as needed
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair activities
• Provide exceptional customer service and communication to clients
• Stay current with industry trends and best practices in air conditioning maintenance

Qualifications:

• City & Guilds or equivalent in air conditioning & refrigeration level 2
• F-Gas Certification
• Strong knowledge of air conditioning systems
• Proficient in troubleshooting and repairing mechanical and electrical components
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Flexibility to work outside of regular business hours when needed
