Sales Manager / Sales Engineer – Food Industry
I’m recruiting a Sales Manager to join a supplier of packaging machinery sold to the food and fresh produce sector. This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive individual with experience selling into the food, FMCG industries. This will be a challenging field-based new business development role, and offers great financial incentives and the opportunity to lead a sales team in the future.
This role would suit either someone experienced selling equipment to food producers & fresh produce suppliers or a field service engineer with extensive experience servicing equipment in food factories.
The Role
- Working from home with most of your time spent visiting customers
- Implement and carry out sales strategies to sell new and existing products within the portfolio to new and existing customers.
- Visiting customer sites UK wide
- Continually conduct market analysis.
- Prepare monthly, Quarterly and yearly sales forecast.
- Working in conjunction with UK Sales Team, you will prepare a business plan for future growth.
You
- Previous sales experience selling equipment into FMCG, Food processing manufacturers is essential.
- A strong technical skill-set and a genuine interest in a sales career could compensate for lack of previous experience in a similar position
- Able to travel within UK and overseas when required
Benefits Package
- Base Salary to £70,000 DOE
- Uncapped OTE £100,000+
