Technical Support Engineer – Actuators / PLCs
My client is a Global Manufacturer of Pneumatic and Automation technology, leading in innovation and providing support to customers in the U.K
They are seeking a Technical Support Engineer in Milton Keynes to provide support on Electric Actuators by answering technical questions, assisting with customer applications and troubleshooting
The Role:
- Programming PLCs, motor drivers and industrial communications (PROFINET, EtherCAT, IO-Link, etc.)
- Design and deliver training courses/presentations to European clients
- Carry out internal investigations and tests to evaluate products
- Write user manuals and technical guides
Requirements:
- A Degree or HND Qualification – Electronics, Electromechanical or Mechatronics Engineering
- Minimum 1 year technical support experience
- Knowledge of PLCs and Ladder or Structured Text programming language
- Knowledge of electrical motion control for industrial applications
- Knowledge of pneumatic and electrical test equipment
Package:
- Salary up to £47,000
- 25 Days Holiday
