Electrical Maintenance Technician
Electro-Mechanical Site Technician
The Role:
- To carry out Planned and Preventative Maintenance to the required standard
- Respond to breakdowns by carrying out Reactive Maintenance when required
- To be able to coordinate and cooperate with production supervision on a day-to-day basis, to ensure the smooth running and availability of plant and equipment
- Interact and respond to all aspects of Lean Manufacturing & Continuous Improvement projects, supporting cost reduction and efficiency
- Work to agreed shift patterns given the appropriate notice period. (Currently 3 shift pattern)
Essential Skills & Experience:
- Previous experience of Electrical, Electronics + PLCs
- Experience of Machinery Fault Finding and repairs
- Electrical Engineering Apprenticeship
- Educated to either City and Guilds, NVQ3, ONC and/or equivalent
- 17th or 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
- Electrical + Electronic engineering drawing interpretation ability
Desirable Skills:
- PAT testing
- Basic Pneumatics
- Basic Bench and Assembly Fitting
- Previous Manufacturing experience
Package:
- Salary: £35,000+
- Pension 5% contribution
- 25 days holiday rising per year
- Death in Service
