Whilst the firm is a general civil engineering consultancy, this role lies within the Structural Engineering team.
The friendly culture of this consultancy is due to it being a 2nd generation family-run business. They have 3 offices in the Midlands. They focus on work-life balance, staff development and support to chartered status.
We have experience in exceeding expectations across a vast array of services, including transport planning, infrastructure planning, flood risk & river modeling, civil engineering design and highways design.
Package
- To £70,000 annual salary
- Company Profit Share Bonus 2.5% – 3% of annual salary circa £2.1K
- Pension Scheme
- 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays
The Role
- Participate as a member of the team working collaboratively to develop the business
- Undertake feasibility, concept and detail structural engineering design and checking
- Undertake structural inspections
- Commission specialist surveys
- Obtain building regulation approvals
- Liaise with Clients, Architects and other professional staff and provide technical advice to them
- Create engineering drawings using CAD packages and sketches for drafting
Requirements
- Relevant degree in Structural/Civil Engineering
- 5 Years post graduate experience
