My client is looking to appoint an Electrical Technician to install and wire electrical controls for bespoke machinery.
We welcome applications from Electrical Engineers with experience designing machinery/equipment i.e. packaging machinery, printing machinery, CNC machinery, conveyors, materials handling.
The Company
Based in Essex, near Basildon design and manufacture of automated packaging lines, used in the pharmaceutical & food industry.
The Role
- Installing low voltage controls and medium voltage controls and equipment
- Working with several types of cable management, tray, basket, trunking, conduit
- Termination of electrical power and control cables in field mounted and panel mounted devices
- Familiar with Industrial electrical installations
You
- Familiar with automated production machinery or other similar capital equipment
- Competent with control and machine components
- Understand electrical wiring diagrams for component identification
- Able to work with several types of cable management systems
- Knowledge of cable types such as YY, CY, cable diameters, single core, or multicore
