Regional Health & Safety Manager
Regional Health & Safety Manager – Chelmsford – Up to £45,000
Our client who are an International Freight Forwarder are looking for a Health & Safety Officer to join their business, who are based in Chelmsford.
The successful candidate will drive and coordinate the all health and safety matters across all sites.
Package:
- Salary: Up to £45,000 (Depending on experience)
- Car Allowance
- Annual leave: 20 days holiday plus bank holidays

Responsibilities
- Regional Health & Safety Manager will assist the Head of HR in the execution of their duties
- Maintain an overview of current legislation in all matters Facilities and Health & Safety.
- Maintain excellent interdepartmental networks and relationships.
- Line Manage and oversee the daily roles and responsibilities for maintenance team
- Update and maintain the company Health and Safety and Environmental Policy
- Ensure that all staff receive up to date training within their areas of responsibility and that the company in compliant with its training needs
- Ensure all staff receive training, information, instruction, and supervision on matters relating to H&S in conjunction with the company H&S policy
- Investigate, record, and report all workplace accidents, including RIDDOR reporting
Requirements
- NEBOSH general certificate – Beneficial
- Experience managing Health and Safety in commercial and warehouse environments
- Excellent customer and client management skills
