My client is looking to appoint a Test Engineer to validate and test newly manufactured machinery.
Ideal experience could include as a maintenance engineer or service engineer or possibly an operator of automated machinery, packaging machinery, conveyors, food processing equipment or similar.
The Company
Based in Essex, near Basildon design and manufacture of automated packaging lines, used in the pharmaceutical & food industry.
The Role
You will initially focus on performing tests on machines using pre-prepared test protocols to support the verification process of the machines being supplied.
- Reporting the outcome of tests and providing feedback to help improve the testing process
- Review and update of Equipment Design Specifications and Qualification Documentation
- Preparing equipment Operator and Technical Manuals
- Interpreting customer User Requirements Specifications and support documentation
- Liaising with suppliers and customers Validation departments during projects
- Conducting Site Acceptance Tests at customer sites
You
- Ideal experience would include as a maintenance engineer or service engineer of automated machinery/packing machinery, conveyors or similar.
- Mechanical or electrical bias
- HNC trained engineering apprentice or engineering graduate with work experience within an engineering environment
- Must be competent with PLC systems e.g. Mitsubishi, Siemens, Allen Bradley
