My client is looking to appoint an Automation Technician to install and wire electrical controls for bespoke machinery
We welcome applications from a packaging machinery, CNC machinery, conveyors, materials handling background
The company
Based in Essex, near Basildon design and manufacture of automated packaging lines, used in the pharmaceutical & food industry
The Role
- Designing PLC based electrical control systems from design specifications
- Programming PLC, Touchscreen and Safety Configurable relay systems
- Configuring Remote I/O, servo motor and inverter drives
- Integrating ancillary equipment into the production lines such as vision systems etc
- Fault-finding electrical control systems, PLC, and hardwired systems
- Assisting with design, build and commissioning of control systems
You
- Strong understanding of electrical drawings and control panel specification/design
- PLC programming of touchscreens, and controls along with an understanding of vision and SCADA systems
- Experience of the pharmaceutical industry and/or explosive atmosphere regulations is desirable
