Import Coordinator – Sea & Road
Position: Import Coordinator – Sea & Road Freight
Location: Leeds
Hours: Mon – Fri 9:am – 17:30
Salary: up to £35,000
Our client is a leading independent freight forwarder, established for over 30 years.
They offer international freight services by sea, air and road, including specialist, sea freight services including, full container load (FCL), less than container load (LCL/groupage), break bulk and out-of-gauge shipments.
Due to continued growth and expansion, we are now hiring for an experienced import coordinator to join out friendly, dynamic team based from our branch in Leeds.
The ideal candidate will have an operational background in freight forwarding with experience dealing with sea freight or European road freight import operations.
Key responsibilities:
- Complete start-to-finish import consignments for via sea freight and European road freight
- Create bookings from the origin
- Provide freight rates, quotes and pricing solutions for customers
- Liaise with overseas agents, shipping lines, merchant haulage and various carriers
- Compete import customs entries via CDS
- Cargowise user preferred.
