Location: Stanford-le-Hope, Essex

Salary: £46,000 pro rata. (DOE)

Working Hours: Monday to Friday – 8:30am-5:30pm

My client is looking for an experienced Reefer Container Engineer to be a pivotal part of the Senior Depot Management Team in Stanford-le-Hope. You will be directly responsible for a team of Reefer Engineers, ensuring the yard and depot are safe, secure and efficient. If you have extensive experience in working in on Refrigeration and Containers, you are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervision of a team of Reefer Container Engineers.
• Ensuring all damaged container units are repaired as quickly and efficiently as possible.
• Perform servicing, assessment and inspection on containers.
• Ensure Health and safety is of upmost importance. Complying with all company policy and ensuring PPE is supplied and requirements are adhered to.
• Assisting with depot and yard operations when needed.
• Flexi tank fitting.
• Mentoring and training members of the team.
  
  

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Reefer Container Engineer is essential.
• Previous leadership experience is desirable.
• Previous experience working for a Shipping Line, Freight Forwarder and/or Road Haulier.
• F-Gas certification.
• NVQ Lvl 2/3 in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration.
