Internal Sales Engineer/Technical Sales Engineer
My client is leading supplier of high-quality piping systems in the UK & Ireland for over 30 years, representing several of the world’s leading pipe systems manufacturers.
I am seeking a Internal Sales Engineer/Technical Sales Engineer to join their sales team. This role involves developing sales of pipe, fittings and valves across various industrial sectors.
The Role
- Engage in proactive sales activities to develop new sales opportunities through inbound calls and leads.
- Communicate with customers to understand their needs.
- Produce quotations and tenders.
- Identify opportunities to upsell products and services to existing and new customers.
- Work closely with the Business Development (BDM) team to route qualified opportunities for further development.
You
- Proven experience in technical selling, ideally within a similar field.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Comfortable with proactive sales work and a confident telephone manner.
- Technical knowledge and expertise in pipe fittings, valves, and related products (training will be provided).
