Finance Manager
We are recruiting a Finance Manager to join a small engineering business. This role is key to smooth running of the business through diligent cash flow management.
As a Finance Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing financial operations to ensure the company’s financial health and sustainability.
Responsibilities
- Reporting to the MD and working closely with the leadership team as the sole finance person
- Oversee all financial operations including cash flow management, budgeting, reporting. £5m TO
- Manage credit control and ensure timely collection of outstanding invoices – 300 per month
- Sending invoices, reconciling payments
- Prepare and analyze financial reports to support strategic decision-making
- Develop and maintain management dashboards to provide insights into financial performance
- Monitor and manage cash flow to ensure the company’s liquidity needs are met
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and best practices
- After 3 months – part working from home option available
Requirements
- Part or fully qualified in finance, accounting
- Hands on credit control experience: Credit controller, Finance Manager, Finance Assistant, Assistant Accountant, Company Accountant
- Proficiency in Xero software and advanced Excel skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Package
- Salary £35K – £45K
- 28 days holiday
