Responsibilities

• Develop marketing strategies.
• Oversee the overall team to ensure Seamless operations.
• Collaborate with the team to formulate sales strategies for company growth and expansion.
• Determine staffing requirements, work with the HR department to interview, and hire new employees.
• Review sales activity reports, and other performance data, to measure productivity and goal achievement for use in executing required actions in cost reduction and program improvements.
• Work with the team to understand their needs and provide original solutions.
• Analyse feedback from and make improvements based on this information to enhance service quality.

Requirements

• A minimum of 3 Years’ experience in a similar role working for a freight forwarder in the UK
• A strong robust background & knowledge of the freight industry
• A clear confident communicator able to clearly convey ideas and concepts (written & Verbal)
• Candidates presently working in or significant experience in the freight forwarding industry will be considered.
• Knowledge of freight software’s (Cargo wise software is desirable)
• The ability to collaborate with the team & autonomously
• The ability to use strategic critical thinking to plan long term business growth with top clients
