Buyer

We require an experienced Buye with previous buying experience in an engineering / manufacturing environment.

My client is an established global manufacturer supplying EMEA from their UK site. They have an excellent brand and employer reputation due to teamwork and valuing their employees’ contributions

Package

Fixed term contract 6+ months with possibility to become permanent

  • Salary £28K-£30K
  • Onsite parking
  • 25 days holiday
  • PAYE

The Role

  • Placing orders & expediting, ensure on time delivery of materials
  • Develop strong working partnerships with suppliers
  • Manage MRP/MPS/SIC
  • Monitor supplier inventory levels
  • Reduce costs and lead times

Requirements

  • Experienced Buyer ideally with previous buying experience in an engineering / manufacturing environment
  • Good knowledge of MRP
  • Ideally qualifications in Materials management
  • Already living in Droitwich area
