Custom Clerk

Customs Clerk – Gravesend – Up to £28,000

Responsible for day to day processing of customs entries ensuring compliance with all laws, regulations and AEO along with ensuring timely Customs Clearance of shipments and transport.

Monday to Friday – 9am to 5:30pm

Salary – Up to £28,000

Essential Functions:

Processing daily import and export customs declarations
Verifying documents received for customs purposes are compliant and correct
Accurate data entry
Communicating with customers directly via email and telephone
Liaising with customs and port authorities
Understanding incoterms
Pricing and booking

Other Responsibilities:

Admin duties including transferring documents onto internal document management system
Complete training

Required:
Some experience in Freight forwarding/ Customs declarations
Minimum 1 years office environment experience
Knowledge of Import and export
