Transport Planner
Transport Planner required near Pontefract
As Transport Planner you will be routing company owned vehicles and sub contract vehicles when required.
It is expected that you plan all routes in line with WTD.
The Package:
£25,000 – £32,000
Monday – Friday
08:00 – 18:00
The Role:
Transport Planner is required to plan cost effective routes
You must ensure profitable return loads are sourced to minimise empty mileage
It is expected that as Transport planner you route loads in line with Drivers Hours legislation
You will be working with import, export and customs teams as required
All Drivers must be briefed and debriefed fully
All associated admin tasks must be completed
The Requirements:
Experienced as a Transport Planner
Previously sourced back loads
Excellent team work skills
Logistics Distribution and Supply Chain
