Junior Transport Planner required near Walsall

You will be joining a leading logistics business with great opportunities to develop and progress your career.

As a Junior Transport Planner, you will be working in a large team assisting in routing the company owned fleet UK wide.

Package:

£22,000 – £24,000

Monday to Friday

10:30 – 19:30 / 11:00 – 20:00

The role:

Junior Transport Planner will assist in planning the routes for vehicles

You must liaise effectively with customers and colleagues as required

You will help ensure all routes are planned cost efficiently

Monitor drivers throughout the day via Tracking Systems & calls.

Junior Transport Planner should ensure customers are kept up to date and SLA’s are met

The Requirements:

Experience as a Transport Planner

Geographical knowledge of UK

Good attention to detail

Logistics Distribution and Supply Chain
