Who we are
My client is a leading electromechanical services provider for rotating equipment. They specialise in the repair and sourcing of pumps, motors, gearboxes, generators, and power transmission components.
The role
Due to growth within the business I am currently seeking an experienced Central Procurement Manager, Procurement Officer, Purchasing Manager, Buyer with Pump, Motor, Gearbox knowledge. In this role you will drive the the purchasing process and implement basic cost controls throughout the companies 4 branches.
- Identifying potential supplier sources.
- Negotiating the best possible supplier agreements.
- Managing supplier and vendor contracts.
- Monitoring and Managing Group supplier spend (across 4 branches)
- Managing and approving existing supply chain.
- Supporting and managing the Group’s purchasing requirements.
Skills and experience
- Industry knowledge or similar engineering product procurement (Pumps, Motors, Gearboxes)
- Experience in managing supplier due diligence and performance.
- Experience in contract management.
- Experience in project management.
- Knowledge and ability to advise on compliance.
