Workshop Manager – Winchester

Workshop Manager required to join a successful and expanding engineering company based in the Winchester area. You’ll be responsible for managing all workshop personnel and operations.

Previous experience may have been as a workshop manager / supervisor, shop-floor manager, works manager, production manager, build/assembly manager, site manager or similar.

The Role

• Managing workshop operations and personnel
• Ensuring compliance to H&S/Environmental legislation and ensure workshop is clean & organised
• Support project managers in planning and managing assembly, test, inspection and installation of projects
• Manage team of technicians including recruitment, development and coordination
• Manage workshop supervisor

You

• Experience in similar role such as workshop manager / supervisor, shop-floor manager, works manager, production manager, build/assembly manager, site manager
• Experience in managing teams covering assembly, test, inspection, installation processes
• Experience managing health & safety
• Experience in a highly regulated industry (aerospace, nuclear, defence) or similar is preferred but not essential

The Package:

• Salary – £38,000-£48,000
• Annual pay reviews
• Car allowance
• 37 hours per week
• 08:30-17:30 (Monday-Thursday) and 08:30-16:30 (Friday)
• 25 days holiday + bank holidays
